a broken heart: that WAS mine

shaken, disturbed, confused, lost.
entered that classroom,
the scent was strong.
memories flushed my mind,
in sadness i....
she WAS my dreams,
she WAS my all.
what can i say,
she WAS perfect
in mine.
i'll look around,
thinkin' i saw her,
hearing her voice here.
i glanced at my phone,
hoping for a message recieved.
but at each point,
she'd disappoint me.
i still longed on.
each day of the week,
i'd wait for D-day
to see her face,
once more.
but at each time,
seeing her face to face,
we'd not speak a word,
only with a smile and a "Hi".
knowing her very next move,
i know her too well,
she claims.
excitement no more,
shatters my heart.
understanding her is a curse,
to me.
being foreign is a blessing,
thats you.
she claims she knows me well,
then hurt me again,
my dear.
where were you,
when i needed you most?
where were you,
when i was crying and wailing?
where were YOU?
all i wanted was a shoulder,
an ear,
at least a tissue paper.
but did you know?
my heart was then dead,
on the day she was born.
she shattered it,
pierced it, dug around
before pulling out.
her smile to me
is one hidden with traps.
talkin to her is no more a fear,
she set me free from her bondage,
but still had me - killed.
now He came along,
to mend this heart,
to give comfort,
to give councel,
to give Love
and to give Life.
to forgive her is easy,
to converse is my forte.
to Love with God's
thats simple.
But to love another,
thats the question!
who can love and give comfort,
who can give support and care.
humans are limited,
cant work 24/7.
He was there,
when i needed Love and Comfort,
He was there,
when i needed support and care.
He will too,
be there for you,
24/7.
just call to Him and He will ans.
