are we in love with a notion

the penance of a decision made yesterday, paid tomorrow.

you make my heart skipp a beat or two.

its been a long, long tiring and, allow me to say, not too good three weeks to start the year off. starting with guard duty over new year's and then having almost no morale in camp everyday, trying to make myself high, and its by God's grace that i am still sane now. some might have seen the destroyed, almost defeated, state that i was in, and others may have seen other sides in the last three weeks, but i guess its just s phase that we all have to go and get past. its like finally the third week many may say, and only one full week so far. no its 7 more weeks left, three more sadistic ones and four physical ones. i believe its going to be better.

but God has beeen good. He always has been.

it wasnt much of what was happening (the activities that were planned) that actually we felt killed us. but being actually in that very place was the part. many i dare say, didnt want to be there, they either wanted to be man, or officer. therefore being where i am now, isn't much of a desired place to many, and to those who've been thru army would more or less know what i'm talkin about.

but i really thank God for a few friends, keeping by me, telling me to push on, to press on, to have pride in what i do, and that its not that bad a place afterall. or telling me that well, we're all in this same circumstance, and we'd have to press on together, even though it was a different situation, having friends check on me, encouraging me, sending me verses, its been really encouraging. thanks for all your prayers..!

my knees are not too good, but their managable. i'm not going to collapse just yet, nor is the pain excurciating, and i'm refusing the MO for the while until maybe after the third field camp. or something like that.

i've seriously dropped all notions on going to ocs or crossover, i'm just happy if they don't send me to aslc. oh God i know its early, but i also know its never too early, i just pray for a good posting, and good people in that place. i know i'm asking for a whole lot, but Lord, have mercy and favor on me.

"and if only you could be there, when you're away."

please keep me in prayers, would be outfield the next three weeks, its going to be tough and strenous and demanding. but i know God will pull me thru it and show me His grace and favor. i know He's there for me and will never forsake me or let me go, i know He'll send people to encourage me and see me through.
